Luzon Development Bank
A group of people desirous to promote countryside banking in Laguna organized the Laguna Development Bank (LDB) on May 8, 1961. Mr. Rene H. Limcaoco led this group. LDB began operation with nine employees and a paid-up capital of P 1 million.

In 1975, the name Luzon Development Bank was adopted when decided to expand operation beyond the Province of Laguna. The old name was too limited for the vision of Board who foresaw the broadness of the Bank’s service capability beyond the boundaries of the Laguna Province to a wider area of Luzon.

LDB celebrated its 55 years in 2016.

Luzon Development Bank aims to be a leader in regional development banking by concentrating, and intensive training of its human resource.

For almost 50 years, until today, LDB has been a community bank, focusing its resources in lending and business development in the regions it serves. We know our customers, and our customers know us.
